Overview:

The Chmer CM434Z Die Sinker EDM is a versatile machine designed for high-precision machining tasks. It is part of the EZ Series, which offers an affordable solution for many EDM applications, including single cavity molds and short-run EDM production. Unlike manual die sinkers, the CM434Z features a programmable Z-axis that allows changes in cutting technology as it descends through the workpiece, improving surface finishes from rough to final finish.

This model includes the Loran orbitor, which adds X and Y lateral movements to the Z-axis, enabling increased cavity size and improved surface finish on both the sides and bottom of the cavity. The Loran orbitor can travel ±5 mm, allowing for complex machining tasks such as inserting threads into hard metals using threaded electrodes and circular orbits.

The CM434Z also includes built-in cutting technology that allows operators to easily select the correct settings based on electrode type, workpiece material, electrode shape, and desired surface finish. This system ensures optimal performance and efficiency.
